At the end of July, most of the diocesan deacons, priests and seminarians, gathered at Ubombo for the first time.At present, the Vicariate is blessed with twelve priests (six religious and six diocesan), two deacons and five seminarians (four in Cape Town and one in Pretoria).
Mass was presided by the Bishop and Fr Vusi Mthembu was in charge of the homily. Before the final blessing Fr Charles Ngwenya also said a few words. Both Fr Vusi and Fr Charles, encouraged the seminarians to give their best in their preparation to the priesthood and advice them out of their own experience in the seminary and as priests.After lunch the Bishop met privately each one of the seminarians and then all of them together with Fr Daniel Nkosi who is the vocational director of the Vicariate.
